As a part of the Continuing Education Program the college is o  rganizing a preparatory course for the aspirants of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The duration of the course will be 150 hours. Classes will be conducted every weekends till the date of GATE examination. Eminent members of our faculty will be handling the classes for the participants to get accustomed with the nature of the examination and hone their skills for perfect result. The program was formally inaugurated by the Honorable District Collector Sri. E. Devdasan, IAS in presence of Dr. R. SATHIKUMAR on 1-8-2011.
Smt. Lakshmi J Mohan, Assistant Professor in IT is the Coordinator of the program. Entire subjects in each of the 4 branches of study viz. EEE, ECE, CSE and IT will be covered in the program.
The College is charging a modicum fee from the participants to meet the expenses incurred during the program. The student participants from the college will be charged Rs 3000/- for the entire program. The fee charged for the external participants will be Rs 5000/-. However participants can opt for attending classes only for those subjects which they presume to be sufficient for their performance by paying Rs 500/- per paper.
